An FJ Company FJ40 and a Singer 911. Perfect restomodding as far as I’m concerned.
Also, a Citröen Loadrunner, because reasons.

Awesome, you have great taste
How come I only just now found out about the Loadrunner?

I could have swore that FJ was die cast model in light box.

The Lane has a flatbed Loadrunner.

I think the way cars are going, restomods may become a bigger market.
...assuming there’s no outright ban on gas powered cars.

I wonder if a Caterham on skinny tires could fit in a panel van Loadrunner?

cause it’s french, and that it’s a CX estate that was customized for primarily for news paper delivery/bulk transport.

Probably not. Did the picture load?

I know, lol. I love their website, they have a configurator that quickly gets out of hand.

If not.

Yeah.

I only like restomods that look OEM quality. These 2 meet that qualification.

There’s a similar kit for FWD cars (Saabs are common) that’d make for a neat race hauler.

Okay, it wasn’t showing up for me. But that’s a mini-truck/van thing for size reference.

I’m still waiting on the day for my dream retirement project: buy out my mechanic’s shop to do my own. Target buying my childhood heroes, restomod, drive for a bit and move on to another car. Just do enough business to keep the lights on and ability to kick whiny customers away.

I’ve seen the FJ Company’s trucks in person- they’re definitely impressive.

I would buy and Eagle Speedster and Low Drag GT
and a 2010 HSV Maloo GXP E2

I’d probably have a Low Drag too, they’re just too pretty.

You can keep the Citroen, but I’m with you 100% on the FJ and Singer.

Icon Bronco is better than FJ
![]() 06/23/2017 at 14:11 |
|
Nah, their aesthetic is too bro. FJ Co. builds OEM looking stuff without going overboard.

The Citröen is for road trips with friends.

Im saying a 1st gen bronco is better than a FJ no matter what.
I work with two people. One has a 77 Bronco and the other a 1st gen FJ. Guess which one is driven more and taken off road and to the dunes.

The Bronco is neat, but ICON’s interpretation isn’t as flattering.
